Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Pricing, Costing & Commercial Executive to manage pricing, costing, and commercial operations for CHYOWE – Lucas Nona Private Limited, Chennai. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in warehouse operations and ocean/air freight forwarding, with the ability to analyze costs, prepare competitive quotations, and support sales and business growth through effective pricing strategies. This role requires close coordination with vendors, operations, and accounts teams to ensure profitability and commercial compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare accurate pricing and costing for warehousing, ocean/air freight, transportation, and logistics services.
Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and vendors to obtain competitive rates.
Prepare and issue rate sheets, quotations, and commercial proposals for customers.
Support sales teams with pricing strategies, margin analysis, and RFQ responses.
Monitor rate validity, contracts, service agreements, and ensure commercial compliance.
Analyze profitability of shipments and customers; track cost variations and additional charges.
Coordinate with operations and accounts teams to ensure billing accuracy and cost control.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations and ocean forwarding/logistics.
Strong understanding of freight pricing, costing structures, and commercial documentation.
Proficiency in Excel, MIS reporting and pricing analysis tools and Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and finance teams.
